Hot damn I finished something. I know it only a sock but you take the big things with the small. I will try to post a better picture of these beauty's but I just and so happy to finished with them. The are first round sock pattern from the Dye-namics sock challenge. We got our patterns on March 15 in the evening and had to tomorrow well today to finish. I got mine turned in at the twelfth hour.

The yarn for the socks is a vintage opal it was the sister color to my favorite pair that I worn out. I was lucky enough to find a match to the worn out pair and these as well. They are knitted on a size 2 except for the heels and toes that are knitted on 1.5. 1.5 are my sock size of choice.

This was stash yarn. No promises or yarn diets were broken to make these socks.
One down 100's more to go.

We Are Moving!!! Yippy!!

We are packing packing packing. Moving day is the 26th of Feburary. The moving men are due at 11am. I don't get off work until 8am so everything better be done before I leave for the office. I expect to be forcing the yarn into the smaller of the two bedroom because it has a huge wall length closet. About 12 feet of 3 foot deep closet. I expect to get 30 cubes stashed in there. So you know only 24 will fit. The room is large enough to get all the yarn in I expect. I have found the best little table, well it seem little at the big second hand furniture store, to use as a sorting table. I have also found my first book case, if I can find away to get it home, without going broke. Delivery is more than the items you are buying.

My goal is a full wall of bookshelves filled with matching balls of yarn. And to get all the fiber in the closet. Of course all the cones on the top shelf of the closet. Maybe a knitting chair and a couple of knitting machine set up and ready to go. Now with no money and no hope of any lets see how much of that I can pull off.
